Identity: Writing About You by You
In this course, writers will explore various writing genres to critically reflect on who they were, are, and are choosing to become. Writers will use themselves as the main topics for writing poetry, journaling, etc. to build their confidence as writers, while also taking time to appreciate their intersectional, ancestral, and/or chosen identities. This course is suitable for writers at any stage of their writing journey and lessons can be translated to the K-12 classroom.

Este curso les permitirá a los maestros expandir su capacidad creativa explorando la escritura ensayística. Tendremos cuatro sesiones, cada una dedicada al escrutinio de un tipo de ensayo específico y sostenida por excelentes materiales.
This course will allow teachers to expand their creative capacity by exploring essay writing. We will have four sessions, each dedicated to the scrutiny of a specific type of essay and supported by excellent materials.
Weave a Lie, Spin the Truth: A Fiction Writing Workshop
This on-demand fiction writing workshop is designed with the busy teacher in mind. Meeting you right where you are, this course will draw from daily life as inspiration and use professional mentor texts to teach craft techniques for writing short fiction.
Getting Personal: Bringing Memories to Life
In this generative writing workshop, participants will draft and revise personal narratives inspired by memories, photographs, personal objects & artifacts and mentor texts. Writers will practice writing scenes and summaries and focus on using imagery, figurative language, and dialogue to enhance the effectiveness of each narrative.
